Pokemon Black and White Explored

Plot
Another change developers have made is the difficulty level. The Japanese version of the game is said to be much more difficult than the previous games and has battles of up to six pokemon at a time, three per person. Also, instead of only having one rival, the Japanese version features two rivals. One rival being difficult and the other easy, it should allow players to earn more experience and money in the 0nline games.

Almost everything else about the plot is just like its predecessors. The plot progressions is linear and progresses by defeating gym leaders, the character is still a young boy or girl, and you win the game by becoming "the very best there ever was."

New Features
New Pokemon
Pokemon Black and White will feature 156 new pokemon. Pokemon in the Japanese version develop slower than pokemon in the previous games, something developers are also incorporating in the North America version. The game debuts two new legendary pokemon: Reshiram and Zekrom. These two pokemon are dragon-type. Your character's rival will have one and you will have to catch the other in order to beat the 0nline games.

The 0nline games will also be the first to not include pokemon from previous games in an attempt to allow new players easier entry into the series of games. Your first major choice in the game will be which pokemon to start with. Like the games before players will choose between a grass, water, and a fire pokemon (Tsutarja, Mijumaru, and Pokabu.) While playing the game you will then continue to "catch 'em all."

Pokemon Black and White will feature a "Dream World" that players can connect to wirelessly. The "Dream World" will include a house for players to decorate and for other players to visit, as well as grow berries and interact with pokemon that are not usually accessible in the game. Another new feature is the incorporation of seasons, with a new season every month. A feature that fans of the early generation games may not like is the change of speech from a box at the bottom of the screen to a speech bubble. The biggest difference in plot is where it is located. Unlike the previous games, Black and White's setting is based off of New York City not Japan like games before.
